On obsidian itself, there is plugin called Google Calendar, but it can't sync two-ways that need me to trigger some command to pull event or make an event.īeing able to jot down notes on the go (Both): Notion and Obsidian can't provide this as efficiently as possible, where we need to wait for 3-4 second just to wait for app to start then we can write our notes. Seamless synchronization between devices and offline mode (Notion for offline mode, Obsidian for sync): Notion syncs are good, but it lacks feature when use it offline. Notion has reminders for both desktop and mobile where obsidian only has reminders for desktop.
Notification for mobile (Obsidian):Since I use it for task management, I need notifications for every task that has been started or is approaching the deadline. Where Obsidian plugins Excalidraw provides it with some disadvantage (Slow, Heavy Process, Etc). And for Notion itself, it lacks support for handwriting and OCR that makes me need to keep using OneNote for my handwritten notes.

I originally used OneNote to take handwritten notes, but after hearing about the BASB/Zettelkasten/GTD method also watching some productive guru videos on YouTube.
